Hello! I'm Brian Talbott.
Maybe you can relate to this – I’ve found that most, if not all, of small business owners start their business to do what they love! To bake cookies, fix cars, build decks and additions, and to serve their clients. But we don’t always realize everything that comes with it – marketing, hiring, firing, procedures, compliance, maintenance, AND managing our finances!
Yet a company’s books and records are the lifeblood of the company – they tell the story of how our business is doing – growing or falling behind, what areas are growing the fastest, where improvements are needed, should that acquisition be made – and how it should be done, can payroll be made, and much more.
I love the sight of clean and up-to-date books & records – but, much much more than that, I love the clarity, insight, and direction that they can provide.
We bring in professionals, in any area or domain of our lives, when the stakes are high and the costs of an error can be significant. I can try to change the brakes in my family van, for example, but if I fail – the stakes are high. I’d rather, and my wife would much rather, I simply higher the professional – my mechanic – to change the brakes.
The same with our finances! The stakes are simply too high and our time simply too valuable to not know the financial health of our businesses. That’s where I come in! I’m a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor and I’ve managed & helped individuals and businesses with their finances and bookkeeping for over 20 years.
It doesn’t matter if you’re just getting started or have been in business for a few decades. I’ll help you set-up or plug into your existing QuickBooks or Xero profiles. I can help you bring your books current – doesn’t matter how far behind you are – or just manage your books going forward.
Even if you’re not sure it’s time to outsource your bookkeeping – let’s set-up a time to discuss the particulars of your situation and see if I’m a good fit for your needs. I look forward to hearing from you!
